We are now on the private island. No actual dry land… just a grouping of mangroves. Everything is built over the water and connected by boardwalks… so why wear shoes. We have no connectivity to other places or tours, so a whole lot of nothing happened today and it was needed.
We woke up. Nathan ‘showered’ by swimming before breakfast. We had interesting interactions with the resident howler monkey (he bites and doesn’t like power tools) and the resident tamarin monkey (he likes his hair brushed). We watched a rain/wind storm blow in and create a water spout. We watch dolphins playing off in the distance. We saw two rays while snorkeling. We got a lot of reading and journaling done. We attempted to activate the bioluminescent algae. Most of all we stayed still (ish).
